SQMAS has been developed to assist all types of organisations to manage their risks, quality performance, customer requirements and long-term sustainability.
SQMAS has been developed with its prime intention being for the smaller businesses to be able to:
a) Demonstrate conformance to a standard
b) Assess its risks and opportunities
c) Ensure customer requirements are met
d) Develop business processes to manage all areas of the business
e) Provide documented evidence of a simple, robust, effective and easy to use QMS
There are six simple stages to implement SQMAS based on six Key documents. This is based around the usual Plan, Do, Check, Act model of management systems.
